The "That's so Kafka-esque!" shirt is made from a surreal mix of upcycled acrylic scrap yarn. This project is completely freehand designed and made with no-sew sleeves and collar. In other words, this shirt came into existence from brain to hand to form; it is also attached to itself in full!
The inspiration for this work comes from an admiration of Franz Kafka and what is dubbed, "kafkaesque" or surreal and horrific media. Much of my work reflects such kafkaesque qualities, so it is only fair to dedicate a freehand work to his work. Thanks Kafka!
